Domaine François Leclerc – Gevrey-Chambertin
François makes the wines at his father’s estate – Domaine René Leclerc – so François is not technically new to us, as we’ve been enjoying wines he’s made for the last few years. However, we are excited to be able to offer for the first time the wine from François’ own small estate, which he launched in 2005. He follows the same philosophies and regimen as for his father’s wines, which is to say low yields from old vines, zero new oak, a light touch in the winery, and a focus on elegance and finesse.
