Scott Paul Wines
Our mission is to hand-craft small lots of exquisite Pinot Noir. To us that means wines that are focused on elegance and finesse, the benchmarks of what we consider to be the very heart and soul of Pinot Noir. The goal is wines that will seduce you, rather than hit you over the head. Think Audrey Hepburn, rather than Pamela Anderson.
We produce a few different Oregon Pinot Noirs, the number of which depends on the character of the vintage and what each of our individual vineyards gave us that year. Our total annual production averages under 2,000 cases. Every vintage we produce our two mainstay wines, Audrey and La Paulée.
Additionally each year, we produce a few micro-production bottlings of a couple hundred cases or less — often from single vineyards or individual single blocks. Recent examples of our limited production bottlings include our 2010 Les Gourmandises (awarded 92 points from Parker’s Advocate); our 2009 Dix (commemorating our 10th Anniversary, it received 96 points from Wine Enthusiast and was named One of Top Wines in the World); our 2008 Dom Denise and 2008 D122.
Scott Paul Club
Because of the very limited quantity, these wines sell-out quickly, generally before any reviews and scores come out in print. The best way to guarantee access to these limited production bottlings including our reserve-level Pinot Audrey, is to become a member of our Scott Paul Pinot Club. There is no fee to join and you can cancel at any time. The club offers year-round discounts, invitations to special events and other benefits which you can read about here.
We are also excited to announce the launch of a new wine brand as part of the new
Vintisanal portfolio of wines. Wildstock Wines will be presented in the fall of 2014. Our
first release will be a 2012 Oregon Pinot Noir that is lovely and accessible. Priced at
$25/bottle, this wine is the perfect entry level Oregon Pinot Noir made with the same
overriding philosophy of non-manipulated winemaking as the Scott Paul Pinot Noirs. We let the natural character of the Willamette Valley shine through in each bottle. Wildstock Pinot Noir will be available in our tasting room and in wide distribution. In spring 2015, we will be adding a
Wildstock Chardonnay to the line too.
