Our Wines
We produce a few different Oregon Pinot Noirs, the number of which each vintage depends on the character of the vintage and what each of our individual vineyards gave us that year. Our total annual production averages under 2,000 cases, with no plans grow the brand any larger.
Our mission is to hand-craft small lots of exquisite Pinot Noir. To us that means wines that are focused on elegance and finesse, the benchmarks of what we consider to be the very heart and soul of Pinot Noir. The goal is wines that will seduce you, rather than hit you over the head. Think Audrey Hepburn, rather than Pamela Anderson.
Every vintage we produce our two mainstay wines, Audrey and La Paulée. Additionally we may produce a few micro-production bottlings of a couple hundred cases or less — often from single vineyards or individual single blocks.
Importing Burgundy & Champagne – Scott Paul Selections
In 2005 we launched our import company, Scott Paul Selections. We import over 100 different wines from 20 different producers in Burgundy and Champagne and sell them nationally through our distribution channels, as well as offer them for tasting and for sale in our tasting room. And of course they are all available for purchase online, and can be enjoyed through our fun and educational wine clubs: our Burgundy Club and our Champagne Club. Red Burgundies are produced from the same grape we grow here — Pinot Noir — allowing us to offer visitors the unique opportunity to taste New World Pinot from Oregon and Old World Pinot from Burgundy side by side. In 2007 we expanded our portfolio to include Scott’s other great love, Grower Champagne. We now import several bottlings from seven of Champagne’s star growers. Scott’s passion for wine was born over many bottles of great Burgundy and Champagne on the family dinner table while growing up in Chicago. He’s a student of all things Burgundian, and spends up to eight weeks each year in the region working closely with all of our producers.
